Following the publication of RTL Group’s audited full-year results 2019 on 13 March 2020, RTL Group’s Board of Directors has decided to schedule its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Tuesday 30 June 2020 at RTL City in Luxembourg. As a consequence, the proposed dividend of €4.00 per share for the year 2019 is scheduled to be paid out on 7 July 2020.
The date for RTL Group’s AGM – which normally takes place in April – was chosen in the light of the rapid worldwide spread of the Covid-19 (Corona) virus. RTL Group places the highest priority on the health of its employees and shareholders, as well as the health of the service providers and guests at the AGM. All decisions taken by RTL Group are intended to slow down the further spread of the virus and are in line with recommendations from the Luxembourg Government.
Depending on the further development, RTL Group will formally issue invitations to the Annual General Meeting on 30 May 2020, one month in advance. At this time, all documents will also be available on RTLGroup.com. RTL Group will continue to monitor the situation closely, and will reassess matters accordingly, if necessary.
