Cebi celebrates the opening of its new laboratory in Luxembourg

With its newly inaugurated laboratory at the cutting edge of technology, Cebi wants to expand its activities.

After more than two years of planning and work, Cebi Luxembourg S.A. is proud to open its testing services in the presence of H.R.H. the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg and the Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot.

The new facility significantly increases the capability and capacity of Cebi’s laboratory to meet future needs of the Group and to serve a large range of external companies. Over 1000 square meters of laboratory floorspace are now well-equipped with around 50 machines for state-of-the-art testing and qualification under severe conditions. The laboratory is divided into 7 applications areas going from 3D printing, climatic, environmental and thermal shock testing, material analysis, all the way to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing. With the financial support provided by the Luxembourgish government, Cebi Luxembourg S.A. was able to acquire specific machines that are scarce in the Greater Region, such as large vibration benches, thermal and climatic chambers with temperatures ranging from -70°C to +300°C, corrosion benches and enclosures for dust or water spray exposure, as well as state-of-the-art EMC chamber meeting automotive and even aerospace standards.Opening of Cebi Luxembourg laboratory
